Head of Technical Account Management
Hello, let us introduce ourselves!
watchTowr is the Preemptive Exposure Management capability trusted by Fortune 500 companies and critical infrastructure providers.
By combining proactive threat intelligence, real attacker telemetry, and automated red teaming, watchTowr continuously identifies and validates real exposure - so security teams can outrun real-world threats.
When exploitation happens in hours, watchTowr delivers what no one else can: time to respond.
We are a global team of operators, researchers, and engineers who have spent years thinking like attackers - and we are now building the technology to stop them. Our work is recognised across the industry, with original vulnerability research from watchTowr Labs and innovations like Instinct and Attacker Eye shaping the future of cybersecurity.
Backed by $29M in funding, recognised by Gartner, and scaling fast across the globe, we are in a high-growth phase of our journey. We are a young, high-energy, and research-driven team, obsessed with building world-class technology - and we want exceptional people to join us.
But what’s the role?
We are looking for a Head of Technical Account Management to build and lead our Technical Account Management function within Customer Success. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a brand-new Technical Account Management function within a high-growth company, defining its strategy, operating model, and global impact from day one.
Initially operating as a senior hands-on leader, this is a leadership role for someone who combines deep offensive-security credibility with the ability to design, execute, and scale a customer-facing technical function in a high-growth environment. You will own the creation of the TAM discipline at watchTowr - defining how we engage our most technically sophisticated customers across both pre and post-sale journeys, shaping standards, building operating models, and ultimately scaling a global team around you.
This is a strictly offensive-security leadership role for someone who has worked in red teams, penetration testing consultancies, or offensive security SaaS and now wants to operate at the intersection of customers, product, engineering, and adversary simulation - while building a function from the ground up.
Within Customer Success, you will partner closely with Sales during technical evaluations and Proof of Value engagements, while driving long-term technical adoption, expansion, and measurable customer outcomes post-conversion.
Reporting into the VP, Customer Success, you will establish the strategy, execution model, and future organization design for Technical Account Management as a core pillar of customer success at watchTowr.
Sounds great – what will I do?
You will initially operate as a senior hands-on leader, owning key customer relationships while designing and scaling the TAM function globally.
You’ll work directly with offensive security leaders at some of the world’s most security-mature organizations, while building the systems, playbooks, and team that will define how watchTowr delivers technical success at scale.
You will:
Build and lead the Technical Account Management function within Customer Success, defining its mission, scope, and operating model.
Design and execute the global TAM strategy, including hiring plans, role structure, engagement frameworks, and success metrics.
Act as the senior technical and strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise and security-first customers.
Lead technical Proof of Value engagements alongside Sales, serving as the senior technical authority during evaluation.
Translate customer attacker-emulation goals into practical, measurable offensive outcomes.
Own technical onboarding, adversary simulation strategy, architecture reviews, and long-term attack maturity planning.
Drive technical adoption, expansion, and long-term account success in partnership with Customer Success Managers and Commercial teams.
Run executive-level and deeply technical workshops, attack design sessions, and enablement with security teams and red team leaders.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Offensive Research to ensure customer attacker insights directly influence roadmap and innovation.
Establish TAM playbooks, standards, escalation paths, and operational processes that enable repeatable global scale.
Mentor and develop future TAMs, creating a high-performing, technically elite team over time.
Represent watchTowr as a trusted offensive authority and strategic partner - not a generic vendor.
Sounds perfect to me, what specifics are you looking for?
Ideal Experience
Leadership experience building or scaling technical customer-facing functions (TAM, Solutions Engineering, Security Advisory, or similar).
Strong offensive security background - experience in red teaming, penetration testing, adversary emulation, exploit development, or offensive research.
SaaS technical account ownership - experience supporting enterprise customers using a security SaaS platform in a technical advisory or TAM-style role.
Startup or scale-up experience - comfortable building strategy, processes, tooling, and teams from scratch - not stepping into a mature function.
Builder mindset with hands-on credibility - able to lead at a strategic level while remaining technically deep with customers.
Enterprise technical stakeholder engagement - confident working directly with CISOs, Heads of Red Team, Detection Engineering leads, and security architects.
Strong systems and attack-chain understanding - deep knowledge of Active Directory & Windows internals, Cloud attack surfaces (AWS, Azure, GCP), and identity abuse, lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence, C2.
Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex adversary tradecraft into clear technical and executive narratives.
Highly autonomous and execution-focused - thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and drives outcomes without needing heavy process.
Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback loops and offensive insights.
Track record of mentoring or leading high-performing technical teams.
Passion for shaping the future of offensive security as a product, not just as a service.
What’s in it for me?
Competitive compensation - we believe that hard work, skills and ambition should be fairly compensated.
Meaningful role in a company - You will be a key and early contributor to a fast-growing cybersecurity business that helps protect some of the world's largest enterprises.
The best tools and powerful kit - we enable you with the tools to effectively fulfil your role.
Endless opportunities – we are in a high-growth phase of our journey, and plan to promote from within as we scale.
Work with cyber security experts – we are solving cutting-edge industry-wide cyber security challenges with some of the world’s most advanced organisations.
