But what’s the role?

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Full Stack Engineer to join us and our Client Facing Applications (CFA) team, in our mission of helping organisations understand how they could be hacked - in real-time.

Sounds great – what will I do?

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the CFA team, you will:

• Build and maintain features across both backend and frontend systems.
• Translate product and design requirements into scalable, high-quality code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver seamless experiences.
• Solve complex technical challenges around scalability, performance, and developer efficiency.
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Sounds perfect to me, what specifics are you looking for?

Ideal Experience

Ideally, you should have 5+ years of experience:

• Building enterprise SaaS products across the full stack in the cybersecurity domain (ideally Threat Intelligence and/or Offensive Security-type solutions)
• Developing backend services with TypeScript and NestJS, including REST APIs, GraphQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Sequelize).
• Designing and implementing complex dashboards and data-driven UIs with React and Chakra UI.
• Working with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation skills.
• Proficiency in:
  • Backend: Typescript, NestJS, Sequelize ORM, GraphQL, REST APIs, MySQL, NoSQL databases, Kafka
  • Frontend: ReactJS, NextJS, Typescript, Chakra UI, React Queries, GraphQL integration
  • Other: Figma (understand complex design and business logic requirements)
• Exposure to startups or high-growth scale-ups, with comfort navigating ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
• Proven ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and ownership-driven mindset.
• Passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts effectively.

Bonus Experience

It’ll also be awesome if you:

• Have experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Have familiarity with workflow engines such as Xstate and Argo Workflows.
• Possess knowledge of computer infrastructure and networking.
